Interlibrary services
Interlibrary services allow you to get a book or a journal article from other national or foreign libraries. The can be a pay-per-use service.
Check the conditions on this page to find out about the rules and costs of the service.
You may ask for up to 5 books or journal articles per week through different ways.
INTERLIBRARY LOAN (books from other libraries)

Personal area available on the catalog |
Log in with your SCU account to your personal area on the Catalogue. Select the "Loans" section and then in the "My space" section click on the "New interlibrary loan request" link. Select the "Economics and Management" reference library in the drop-down menu and carefully fill in the fields of the form that appears. |

DOCUMENT DELIVERY (journal articles from other libraries)

To use this service you need to register for free. This service allows you to keep track of your requests on line, but due to the current rules and regulations to collect the requested items you still need to come to the Library and it's not possible to send them by email. TO ask for a journal article just log into the service and crete a new request. Please note: the service interface is in Italian. |

Payment can be done cash or by using your debit/credit card when the item is collected. You will be given a receipt.

PENALTIES
Penalties are the same as for the loan service.
BEM offers its interlibrary services to Italian and international libraries.
The lenght of the loan is 30 days and can be extended for a further 15 days if the item has not been requested by others. The requesting libraries undertake to comply with current legislation on copyright.

SERVICE CHARGES
The service is carried out in a free reciprocity regime:
- with UNITO libraries,
- with those libraries adhering to NILDE, ESSPER and BESS services
- and with all those libraries with which express reciprocity agreements have been signed.
For all other libraries, payment must be made by IFLA voucher upon return of the item/s according to the following price list:

PENALTIES
In the event that the requesting library loses or damages a work received from BEM, it is required to replace it with another copy of the same edition.
