Training courses

In order to facilitate the maximum dissemination of information skills, BEM has developed a project to accompany students in all phases of their study path.

FIRST CYCLE DEGREE
TITLE SCHEDULE AND ESTIMATED TIME DESCRIPTION  
ABC: tools and resources for studying at the School of Management and Economics Active on Moodle platform from 1 November 2022 to 31 October 2023 with an estimated duration of 4 hours.
A final certificate will be issued.
Basic course aimed at first-year students.
This course introduces the characteristics of scientific communication, presents the different types of paper and digital documents, tools for bibliographic research, access to on/off campus databases and BEM services for students.

Thesis writing: tools and methods Active on Moodle platform from 1 November 2022 to 31 October 2023 and with an estimated duration of 8 hours.
The course is mandatory for Business Administration from the 2016/17 cohort onwards.
A final certificate will be issued.
Thematic course aimed at students of the second / third year of the first cycle degree.
It presents the document research methodology aimed at writing the thesis: phases and characteristics of the research process, examples of primary and secondary sources, tools for literature analysis, citations and bibliography management.

MASTER'S DEGREE
TITLE SCHEDULE AND ESTIMATED TIME DESCRIPTION  
How to manage your bibliography Active on Moodle platform from 1 November 2022 to 31 October 2023 with an estimated duration of 8 hours. Course aimed at SME graduates who are close to writing their master's degree thesis.
It explores and develops issues related to citation and bibliography management: citations functions, citation styles, bibliography and webliography, presentation of Reference Management Systems.

PHD TRAINING

Tools and resources suporting advanced research in Business and Management November-december 2022, with an esitmated duration of 20 hours. Annual advanced courses aimed at students of the Business & Management doctoral school.
They have the purpose of deepening the nature and characteristics of scientific communication, presenting advanced tools for literature analysis, introducing elements of bibliometrics and research evaluation and presenting open access principles.
